This site archives digital media projects created by Professor Sandra Patton-Imani and her students at Drake University. Each page features a project or a class focused on documenting human lives in cultural and historical context. These critical explorations of society are grounded in interdisciplinary cultural criticism, and life history, oral history, and ethnographic interviewing methods. These self-reflexive projects draw on visual anthropology and documentary film methods to share stories and visions for social change.
